Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Piotr Galaburda (“Statim”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you use the Statim.chat website and service (the “Service”). We act as the data controller for the personal data described here, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data we collect
- Contact data you provide (name, email, phone) when you request a demo or contact us.
- Conversation data processed on behalf of our business customers, such as messages and call transcripts exchanged with their end customers.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type and basic usage analytics.
- Platform data from connected messaging channels — the content of messages exchanged between a business and its customers, plus each customer’s basic profile information made available by the channel (such as name, username and profile picture) and the channel’s user identifier. This is obtained through the channels a business connects, including but not limited to Facebook Pages and Facebook Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp and Telegram, and other channels added over time. It is used strictly to deliver the messaging features the business enables — never for advertising, and never sold.
Where a business connects a Facebook Page and/or an Instagram account, Statim accesses them through Meta’s official APIs using the access the business grants, and its use of Facebook and Instagram data complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
2. How we use data
- To provide and operate the Service, including answering and routing messages and calls.
- To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
- To improve reliability, security and quality of the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal bases
We process personal data on the basis of contract performance, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Sharing and processors
We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service (for example cloud hosting, telephony, speech and AI providers, and messaging platforms such as Meta), under appropriate data-processing agreements. We do not sell personal data.
5. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
6. International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (UODO). To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@statim.chat.
8. Data deletion
You can request deletion of your data at any time. See our Data Deletion instructions for details.
